Fixed Price Models are best suited for those kinds of projects, where all the specifics are fixed and clear. You can use this model when your project has all the requirements laid out clearly from the initial stage till the delivery time and there are no changes happening.
The client will have to provide a detailed specification document to Mindbowser. We will then review the specifications and ensure that all assumptions and details are made explicit. We will prepare an effort analysis and propose a fixed price and fixed time frame for the project execution. We will also highlight the scope of change and possible risks during the execution phase.
Client and Mindbowser will enter in an agreement that covers visual aspects, documentation, application design, testing, support period, change management, communication protocols, milestones, timelines and commercial details. The project is executed as per the agreement.
At the beginning of the project the expectations and budget are clarified.
There is limited risk to both parties as the scope, price and timelines are fixed in this model. This risk reduction is however based on the quality effort that precedes the agreement phase.
This model is especially suitable for the kind of projects where there is a constant need of changing something or the other at various stages. Where project specifications are not clear or require freedom of system design changes at project mid way. This model thus gives a lot of flexibility to the client, in terms of changing the specification of the project requirement.
We start with signing an agreement and start point from various stages viz. post specification, pre-specification, post architectural design etc.
A comprehensive scenario will involve problem definition, solution definition, research, business analysis, specifications, visual mapping, architectural design, documentation, coding, change management, testing, rollout and support.
The effort estimation is usually involved for all the elements for all stages at the beginning of the project. The client and Mindbowser prioritize and scope of each element. We then prepare an effort estimate for that stage, defining the promised deliverables for that element and state the assumptions involved.
The implementation of each element is embarked upon with a provision for change management and assumption updates. The effort is charged on a pre-agreed hourly rate based on the quality of resource engaged.
This process is repeated for each of the elements until the solution is delivered entirety. As defined with part of agreement, Mindbowser may raise invoice for hours consumed and may provide detail breakdown of work done within suggested hours.
This model is very useful in scenarios where there is a constant change or the outset of the project is not completely decided. Or if there is a new emerging technology, new idea without proper plan, undocumented business process or workflow applications, evolving requirements due to lack of experience/evolving market, Research on a concept or trying out various options. This engagement model will be ideal for complex business projects for longer duration of time.
Sometimes, the project comes to us at the idea stage, which is yet to be nurtured and scope to be finalized. Our hourly model provides you flexibility to use our consultant and developers guidance to finalize the scope. This aspect can be done on a hourly basis and once the scope is finalized, We can provide the client fix time and cost scope.
We ask you to fill a project description template. Once we receive it, we discuss through a call or mail, iterating over the concept and discussing how the idea can be improved. Our expertise can help you in improving the idea by deciding over features to add, remove, modify etc. We shall then create mock up screens of the complete idea and send for your feedback. This stage can go iteratively till both parties feel satisfied with the complete idea. Additionally, we shall provide design themes to you to decide on the look and feel of the UI. This too will be an iterative process. Once the designs and mockups are finalized, we shall scope the development effort in terms of time and cost and provide you a proposal for fixed cost. Agreed upon, we shall work on the decided cost and time to deliver.

Mindbowser shall provide project teams with the required team members, project managers, equipment and infrastructure based on project requirements. Customers pay a monthly charge based on the size and composition of the team. This model offers the flexibility to balance team size and project workloads.
Mindbowser and client shall sign an agreement and we shall provide personnel according to the requirement for various roles project manager, developer, testers. This complete team shall work solely for the client and under client’s direct supervision. We shall also provide complete support infrastructure, training and support ecosystem and if required, hire additionally on our payrolls, the kind of personnel required by the client.
We take total burden of project implementation from you, allowing you to focus on business aspects. It allows the client to leverage Mindbowser IT capabilities to maximum, since we will allow complete flexibility to use our team. It also allows the client to build their own team with lesser risk and no upfront costs.
